I asked myself this question a while ago: Now that I got all these followers, how do I connect with them and get them interested in me and what I have to offer? The answer to that question is quite simple.

Is the key to success in social media marketing to build a huge following? No. The key is to build a strong following of people who actually care about you and who you are. People that share the same interest in life and professionals that is in the same niche as you. There is a hole bunch of people on social media that acts like robots. They act like a machine that is programmed to do one thing and that is to sell their product or their business opportunity to everyone. We all know how annoying this is. It don't work! You don't sell your product that way and you create enemies instead of friends. People will unfollow you and in many cases report you as a spammer. You don't want that to happen.

Act in social media as you act in life in general
Be a human being. A human being has real feelings, meanings and emotions. There is a lot off people out there that has the same interests and struggles as you do. By writing this I don't mean that you should post all your struggles and be a sympathy seeker. If you can provide a solution to peoples struggles you are king. Share what you found out to be the solution for you when you dealt with the same problem as they deal with.

Provide value
What do people found valuable? I bet that you just like me isn't a writer of novel or a person that comes up with quotes or good jokes all the time. The good thing is that there is so many great writers out there. The best ones lived in the past. Find a good quote and post it. Share your meanings on a news story, a book you read, a video you just saw or a hillarious joke you just heard.

Communicate
ReTweet posts that you found interesting. Reply to all DM's that doesn't contain spammy links. A link to connect on facebook is accepted and a good way to build a stronger relationship. Be grateful and thank people for RT and @replies. Respond to your at replies as quickly as possible. Even if it is a disagreeing comment, just write “I appreciate your ideas and comments even if we do not agree.”

Find people in need of your services. My good friend Sean Malarkey (the author of Twixplode) tough me a awesome way to do this. Set up a account on Hootsuite. Lets say you have a store that sells car paint. Search for "scratched my car" and save the search. In that way, every time someone tweets those words you will see it on your dashboard and you can easily send them a DM or a @reply. This will really boost your traffic.

Build relationship with your followers. You should never find people and go sell sell sell. Build a relationship with them over time and interact with them. Always share things of value. Reply to your not-spammy DM's and Re-tweet tweets you find interesting. Write a strong bio and call yourself an expert in what you do. People really love experts!

Go into a profile of a person that is already your friend and that is in the same business as you. Simply add some of their friends. Doing this you will find people that have the same interest and people that will find your opportunity or you as a person interesting.

3. Facebook Groups. A really good way to get out to your target audience and to generate new leads, is to set up a facebook group. Facebook lets you invite all your friends to that group and as people join this will become a highlight on their wall, so that their friends can see it and join as well. Other members of your group can also invite all of their friends. What's really great about facebook groups is that when you'r the admin of a group, facebook lets you send out a message to every member of that group. In that way you can, lets say once a week share something of value to your group members. You should also join other groups and share comments, pictures, links and videos to these groups.

4. The News Feed. This is what everyone sees on their homepage when they log in. Here everyone can post whatever they like. You can share a texts, photos, links and videos. Off course you need to share something to your audience. But what to share? The number one rule here is to share something of value for the reader. Share a good quote, a link to a informative article, a good video that you found on YouTube or your view on a news story and so on. You can also share something fun. It's very effective to share a joke or a fun video. What you want to achieve with your posts is getting people's interest and their comments. My Story - What has this business opportunity meant for my life?

A struggling student
Less than 3 months ago i was a last year nurse student struggling to make a living. In my country of Norway students get's a loan and a small scholarship while studying. This small amount of money (about $1000 a month) was not even enough to cover my rent, my bills and the everyday costs of living. So I'd had to work to supplement my income. I worked at the local hospital and kinda liked it in a way. It was a good working environment with nice colleagues. But that was about it of what was positive about it.

Working as a nurse is hard both psychical and physical. After about half a year working my back really started to say that enough was enough. I worked about every weekend and some evenings during the week. This really gave me no spare time and no time to enjoy life. Not enough time to spend with my family and friends, and not time to develop myself as a individual. With all this effort and sacrifice the result should really be to a least have enough money not having to worry about bills and debt. That was not the result.The result was that every month my debt and my loans were increasing. I still was not able to be pay my bills and still have money left over to enjoy life. Besides the fact that my student loan was increasing each month, I had to max out my MasterCard every month and the worst part; borrow money from family and friends.

The ad that changed it all
Last summer I worked about 40+ hours a week at the local hospital when my school was off. This summer really made me realize that the education that I was about to finish and the job I would do, would not meet my expectations. To make a decent living doing this job, the result would be a life without freedom. Not enough freedom to do what I wanted, not enough freedom to live the life i deserve, not the freedom to do what I love and to be who I want. One late evening after coming home from work I was so sick and tired! I did my daily routine of checking my mail, reading the online newspaper and see what my friends were up to on facebook. Luckily I came over an add seeking entrepreneurs. Clicking that ad would show to change my life.

The ad revealed a business opportunity and a company that really opened my eyes. The structure of the web pages impressed me and all the info really got me interested. I read through all the info and then decided to submit my application to start my own business. The fact that i needed to submit an application made me confident that this was a serious opportunity. After submitting my application I got access to a business overview page that gave me valuable information and really made me decide to start.

So how has this business opportunity changed my life?
I no longer work endless hours at the hospital. After 2 months in this business I fired my boss! Who wouldn't love to do that? Besides making more money off course, I now have the time to do what I love. I have more time with my family and friends. My health both psychical and physical is improved. In just a few days from now I'm going to a wealth conference and marketing event in Las Vegas. This is like a dream come true for me and I never could have done it without taking the first step and explore this great opportunity.

Litt om meg

For kun kort tid tilbake var en jeg student som slet for å få endene til å møtes. Jeg gikk i underskudd hver måned og gjelden bare vokste og vokste. I tillegg jobbet jeg endeløse timer ved siden av skolen for å begrense underskuddet. Jeg slet meg selv fullstendig ut og til slutt møtte jeg veggen. En dag da jeg kom hjem fra en lang arbeidsdag bestemte jeg meg for at noe måtte gjøres. Det måtte finnes noe bedre! Det jeg fant var En hjemme- og internettbasert jobb med et høyt inntektspotensiale, et revolusjonerende system og full opplæring, trening og support.


Det jeg fant skulle vise seg å forandre mitt liv totalt. Det jeg fant var en jobb der jeg selv bestemmer, der jeg får utnyttet mitt potensiale og der jeg får betalt det jeg fortjener! En legitim, profesjonell og stabil hjemmebasert jobb, som ga meg muligheten til å gjenvinne kontrollen over min finansielle situasjon, min frihet og mitt liv.


Etter 8 uker leverte jeg inn oppsigelsen og var ferdig med å jobbe for noen andre. Jeg var min egen sjef! Jeg tjente 5 ganger så mye hjemmefra med en jobb jeg kunne nyte. I min fjerde måned tjente jeg 62.000 kr!

Jeg jobber vanligvis ca 20 timer i uka. Jeg elsker det jeg gjør og jeg er inspirert og brenner for å hjelpe andre mennesker. Jeg jobber sammen med de absolutt dyktigste personene i denne bransjen. Jeg har kontaktene. Mitt mål er å hjelpe deg med å tjene penger i løpet av 2 uker og erstatte din inntekt i løpet av 30-90 dager.


Jeg jobber med noen av de som tjener mest i denne bransjen. Ikke bare vil jeg vise deg hvordan du gjør eksakt det vi gjør, vi vil fortsette å arbeide sammen. Jeg vil være din personlige mentor på veien mot målet.
